Apple had a product announcement on Tuesday this week and there are some shiny new products coming our way>
In the iMac line, there is a 27″ version that has the new 5K screen. This ultra-high resolution computer has 5120‑by‑2880 pixels, faster cpus, faster and larger hard drives, and new Thunderbolt2 connectors.
In the iPad products there are new std and mini sized iPads. Most significantly, there are now fingerprint sensors, faster processors and thinner construction. The larger unit has improved the camera from 5 to 8 megapixels as well.
There is a new faster mac mini and Apple Pay is slated to start on October 20 at selected locations.
Yosemite (the most recent version of the mac OS) was announced earlier this year and was made available for download this week as well. There is no charge for the upgrade.
