Windows 10 update (patch KB4482887), is causing graphics and mouse performance degradation with desktop gaming. This applies to machines with both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs.
“After installing KB4482887, users may notice graphics and mouse performance degradation with desktop gaming when playing certain games (eg: Destiny 2),” said Microsoft in a notice. As a short-term resolution, Microsoft suggest users to uninstall KB4482887 to regain performance. In the meantime, Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
